Canada vs Czech Republic Live

Canada has not been challenged indoors at this year’s tournament, but that may change against the upstart Czech Republic. The Czechs have three of the tournament’s top scorers in the tournament in Martin Necas (3G, 6A), Filip Zadina (5G, 1A) and the tournament’s top scoring defender Libor Hajek (1G, 6A). They have also had key contributions from Martin Kaut and Filip Chytil. Zadina and Kaut are both eligible for the 2018 NHL Draft.

The hosts and defending world junior champions, the United States, enter their semifinal matchup against Sweden on an impressive run of performances. Since a 3-2 loss to Slovakia early in the tournament, the Red, White and Blue have reeled off three wins in a row, beating powerhouses Canada, Finland and Russia in the process. New York Islanders prospect Kieffer Bellows scored twice in the 4-2 quarterfinal win over Russia to run his tournament goal total to six, while 2017 No. 8 pick Casey Mittelstadt leads the tournament with 10 points. With those two leading the way, the Americans look like the favorites on their home ice.

Canada has gotten great play up and down the lineup, and are expected to have Victor Mete back in the lineup. There is extra “drama” as we wait to see how the Czechs will try and throw Carter Hart (3-0-1, 1.96 GAA, .920%) off his game due to the attention his superstitions are getting. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS2 in Canada. NHL Network in the USA will show the game.

For better or worse, the game was a solid representation of the player Andersson can be. He didn’t score flashy goals the way Elias Pettersson or Alex Nylander did, but he made contributions every shift in a number of different ways.

USA vs Sweden

Welcome to watch USA vs Sweden Live Stream 2018 World Junior Hockey Championship Semi final match. The game will be on TSN 1/3/4/5 and RDS in Canada. NHL Network in the US will also show the game. If the USA is to repeat as gold medallists at the World Junior Hockey Championship, the team will need to get past perhaps the most talented roster entered into the tournament.

Sweden has received slightly better goaltending, with Filip Gustavsson outperforming Joseph Woll. The Swedish netminder has also benefitted from a stronger defensive effort in front of him, with the country allowing an average of just 1.71 goals through five games.

There are star talents on both squads, with Casey Mittelstadt, Brady Tkachuk, and Kieffer Bellows set to duke it out with Elias Pettersson, Lias Andersson, and Alex Nylander for the duration of the contest. There are good players on the back end as well, with the likes of Dylan Samberg and an explosive Adam Fox up against a strong Swedish defence led by 17-year-old phenom Rasmus Dahlin.

Two of the pre-tournament favourites go up against each other for a spot in the Gold Medal game. The two teams reportedly wanted to play the early semi-final in order to get the extra rest before Friday’s final. This game features two of the top prospects in the 2018 NHL Draft in Sweden’s Rasmus Dahlin and USA’s Brady Tkachuk. Two first-round picks are also scoring at will in this tournament in Lias Andersson (five goals) and Kieffer Bellows (six). Canadiens first-round pick Ryan Poehling has been heavily leaned upon by the Americans for his two-way game.

Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United

Watch Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United Live Tottenham striker Harry Kane is expected to return to the starting line-up in place of Fernando Llorente. Manager Mauricio Pochettino awaits news on the fitness of Mousa Dembele and Danny Rose, while Toby Alderweireld remains out until February. West Ham boss David Moyes has a lengthy injury list to contend with and could be without left-back Aaron Cresswell. Andre Ayew has been troubled by a hamstring injury and Michail Antonio is again expected to miss out.

Alistair Bruce-Ball:  Tottenham Hotspur vs West Ham United “It’s a second Premier League game in three days for both clubs, but at least this time both of them have had the same amount of rest, or lack of it! David Moyes admitted after the dramatic late victory against West Brom on Tuesday that that was the game they really had to win this week so I imagine they’ll come to Wembley with a bit more freedom particularly having already won there in the League Cup in October. That was a remarkable turnaround that night because they were 2-0 down at half-time having been played off the park. Tottenham need to win to stay in touch with the top four and they’ll have a chance to strike at their Champions League rivals at the end of the month when they start a run of three consecutive games against Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal.”

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino on the win over Swansea: “The conditions were difficult and for the players, horrible. We tried to play our football and the effort was fantastic. “We played well and deserved the victory overall. I’m pleased because the victory and three points was so important for us.

“Now we need to recover quickly and be ready to play against West Ham (on Thursday night).” Predict the score for this match and the rest of this round’s Premier League fixtures in our Predictor game.

LSU basketball takes on the Kentucky Wildcats on Wednesday evening in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center. See below for information on how you can watch, listen to and stream this game.

Coming off a win over Memphis to round out non-conference play, Will Wade’s LSU Tigers host John Calipari and the Wildcats in Baton Rouge for the first time since 2016. This will be LSU’s first SEC game of the season and Kentucky’s second, after the ‘Cats snuck past Georgia over the weekend.

According to the KenPomeroy standings, Kentucky has been the 18th-most efficient team in America this season, ranking No. 29 in offensive efficiency and No. 15 defensively. LSU sits at No. 79 overall and No. 25 offensively. Kentucky will be the highest-rated defensive team the Tigers have faced this season.

Kentucky hits the road for the first time in SEC play Wednesday when the No. 17 Wildcats face LSU in Baton Rouge, La.

Since he starts five freshmen, it’s not surprising that Kentucky coach John Calipari has some concerns. But it might not be what one would think.

First conference road trip? No.

“This is a totally different era of where they go play, who they play, the events they play in, the show games they play in,” Calipari said with a nod to the AAU travel circuit. “It’s the first game on somebody’s home court, but we’ve been away from home, had to travel, and they’ve performed. I’m not so worried about that.”
